BioMerry Meet all...
I'm from a lot of places... Born in CA, raised 27 years in OK, and Moved back to CA 97 (Sacramento Air Logistics Center), then to PA (Tobyhanna Army Depot) in 98, then to UT (Hill AFB) then Okinawa Japan (Kadena AB) Finally here Fredericksburg in July of 2006.
I found paganism the same time I first got sober in 1995. I had some rough paths and relapsed in 96. I finally got the program down in 97. About this same time I embraced the Great Goddess and life seems to keep getting better all the time.
I am very interested in the spiritual path outlined in "The Spiral Dance" by Starhawk. I have been a seeker for many years looking for a path that I could follow and that would fill a void in my spiritual being. I started down a Native American path when I started attending 12 step meetings nine years ago. This path "felt" right to me... but out of respect for my Native brothers and their concern that it was diluting their heritage, I abandon this path. Since I have European heritage I turned to Wicca. I first read "The Spiral Dance" 6 years ago and continue to attempt to follow Starhawks teachings only as a solitary. I'm pretty shy about meeting new people.
